Simon Bolivar is a Creole that was born in Caracas, Venezuela on July  24, 1783. Bolivar is a liberator who lead a military so that south american country's can get their freedom from the rule of the Spanish ( Spain ). Bolivar got his ideas from the enlightenment and the enlightenment thinkers, For example, John Locke was an enlightenment thinker who talked about equal rights for every man. He helped the countries Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia (The Country Named After Simon Bolivar), Ecuador and Peru. They named the country bolivia after Simon Bolivar because he helped them get the country their freedom that they wanted. Simon Bolivar was also influenced by the American and French Revolutions because in those revolutions, they were going for the same cause, To get freedom from their leaders and to create a democracy. What really influence him was that the Spanish did have a good set-up so the government there fell and thats when they revolted.
