Nationalism and the Creation of Italy
Nationalism is a state of mind. You are Loyal To no kings queens or royalty. Just to yourself, Your Country and the people in the nation as a whole. People Show many ways how to be loyal to their country. For starters, they speak the national language. For example, In the United States we speak English. If you don't speak english a lot of things cant be done. Another Example of nationalism is like The holidays we celebrate, Such as veterans day, thanks giving, July 4th ( independence day ). Also other holidays like Dr. Martin Luther King day as well. Also another way we express this is by our currency. Nobody else in the world uses the american dollar but America itself.

Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revolutions
Simon Bolivar is a Creole that was born in Caracas, Venezuela on July 24, 1783. Bolivar is a liberator who lead a military so that south american country's can get their freedom from the rule of the Spanish ( Spain ). Bolivar got his ideas from the enlightenment and the enlightenment thinkers, For example, John Locke was an enlightenment thinker who talked about equal rights for every man. He helped the countries Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia (The Country Named After Simon Bolivar), Ecuador and Peru. They named the country bolivia after Simon Bolivar because he helped them get the country their freedom that they wanted. Simon Bolivar was also influenced by the American and French Revolutions because in those revolutions, they were going for the same cause, To get freedom from their leaders and to create a democracy. What really influence him was that the Spanish did have a good set-up so the government there fell and thats when they revolted.

John Locke and "The Enlightenment"
According to the document, The United States constitution says that the government receives its power and representatives from the hardworking people who vote. The Citizens Vote for our leader, the mayor, the senate and much more. All these ideas mainly come from John Locke so he inspired our laws and our constitution.
